Is Not Gold explores the fragile balance between the pursuit of beauty and the ethical awareness required to sustain it, calling for an intentional rejection of systems that enable child labor and illicit exploitation. The work urges us to assign value not only to the object but to the integrity of how it came to be. Beauty, it suggests, is not truly golden unless it is justly earned.

Royalty is a series born from my study of historical monarchies and the formal portraits crafted by the Old Masters—images meticulously composed to reflect how the powerful wished to be seen.
